REDBOX PULLS A NETFLIX, HIKES PRICES

NOW THAT YOU'RE ADDICTED, PAY US MORE:
A customer checks out the latest rentals, not knowing that
if she thinks she'll always pay just a buck, she's out of luck.
Maybe they should change their name to Raisebox!

(CNS) - - LOS ANGELES - - Kiosk movie renter Redbox announced to its customers today that it will be jacking up its DVD prices as of October 31 from $1 to $1.20 per title.

It will no doubt also raise their Blu-ray rental price in line with that. Redbox cited, "new increases in debit card fees" as the main reason for the hike.

This shows that not only are certain major banks charging a $5 per month debit card fee to their depositors, but they are double-dipping by hiking up retailers' fees as well.

Happy Holidays - you've just been had by the banksters again!
