SENATE SMASHES TRY TO MASH MEDICARE
HEY RATFACE RYAN, YOU'RE A COMPLETE IDIOT: The vote was almost 60 to 40 against you - get the hint and get out, you stupid, ugly, lower than a snake's belly Medicare-bashing scumbag.Medicare is saved! Woo-hoo! Here's the latest word from Ted and Tom at TNN! I mean CNN!By Ted Barrett and Tom Cohen CNN Washington, DC -- In what amounted to political theater rather than legislative action, the Senate Wednesday rejected a House budget plan that included a controversial provision to overhaul Medicare and also unanimously voted down President Barack Obama's 2012 budget proposal. The House budget measure had been expected to fail in the Senate due to overwhelming opposition by majority Democrats, plus wavering support for its Medicare overhaul among Republicans. The Senate GOP has recognized the provision's unpopularity with senior citizens enrolled in the government-run health insurance program. Senate Democrats forced Wednesday's vote in order to make Senate Republicans go on record in support of the Medicare overhaul. The final vote on the proposal, originated by House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan, R-Wisconsin, was 57-40, mostly along party lines. Republicans who joined the majority Democrats in opposing the measure were Scott Brown of Massachusetts, Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, Rand Paul of Kentucky, and Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins of Maine. JAPAN REACTOR HOLES ADMITTED
AERIAL VIEW OF THE DAMAGE: The Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant. (Click pic to enlarge.)Photo: CNN By Kyung Lah CNN Tokyo, Japan -- Two of the damaged reactors at the crippled Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant in Japan may be riddled with holes, according to the facility's owner. The holes may be as big as 7 to 10 centimeters ( 2.8- 3.9 inches), Tokyo Electric Power Co. said in a 225-page document submitted this week to Japan's Nuclear and Industrial Safety Agency. In the report, Tokyo Electric says the containment vessel of reactor No. 1 may have developed a hole as big as 3 centimeters in diameter 18 hours after the quake. 50 hours after the quake, the hole may have widened to seven centimeters, the report said. In reactor No. 2, the containment vessel may have developed a hole as wide as 10 centimeters, 21 hours after the quake. The nuclear plant has suffered cooling problems and radiation leaks since a March 11 earthquake and tsunami. The hydrogen explosion four days after the crisis began may have led to the formation of a second hole in reactor No. 2, as wide as 10 centimeters in diameter. "This report is not conclusive. No one has entered these areas and we cannot confirm this as fact," a TEPCO spokesman said, adding that the report is making preliminary assumptions about what happened inside the reactors. A hole in the reactor's containment vessel means there is a high probability of the leakage of radioactive material into the reactor building. The amount of radioactive material in all three of the reactor buildings has hampered TEPCO's ability to build an effective cooling system. TEPCO says a cooling system is a critical step to leading to a cold shutdown, still estimated to be five to eight months away. Nuclear experts and scientists have long suspected this sort of damage to the containers of the reactors at the crippled plant, as well as a full meltdown of the fuel rods in reactors 1, 2 and 3. UPDATE: 5/27/11 - You guessed it... a hole in a third reactor. Wanna go for the fourth and last one? We won't be surprised, will we? ______________________________

BLUE PILLS CAUSING HEARING ILLS: Exposing the truth about Viagra's deafness link has often run into some very stiff opposition.By E.J. GauthierMy Pearls Of Wisdom Falling On Deaf Ears (CNS) - - Well, this story certainly gives new meaning to the term "hard of hearing"! Of course, I've never needed the stuff, myself. But the Pharma Times reported yesterday that new research, first published in the current issue of The Laryngoscope Journal, shows that those little blue pills often make folks a little bit deaf. They say that hearing loss associated with Viagra and similar types of erectile disfunction drugs have recently been reported, but few studies have evaluated that causal link. Could the reason for all that non-publicity be massive pressure from the major pharmaceutical companies, AKA Big Pharma? Yep! I done heard dat! FULL STORY____________________________________
CDC: ZOMBIES FOR YOU AND ME
Seems that the CDC (Center for Disease Control) yesterday actually warned us about zombie-related medical problems and prevention.
Not a spoof, not a dream, not a five months early Halloween publicity stunt, not even a fake website inspired by George Romero.
We checked it out, and the original source indeed emanated from one of the CDC's real pages.
First aliens and now this! Read the whole hootenanny below - if you dare!

BBC REPORTS 'OSAMA RAID' A FAKE
BEATING ANOTHER DEAD PONY - THIS WHOLE THING IS A PHONY: Dr. James David Manning agrees with the BBC that the so-called bin Laden capture was a complete fraud.
(Originally recorded and uploaded by ATLAH.org on May 12, 2011.)UPDATE: (5/22/11) Apparently after first "botching their video feeds" (which as we expected would have shown nothing, of course), the idiots then crashed their copter while leaving the compound where they "killed' their fake bin Laden. Which at least explains why they held a "hero's" burial at sea. It wasn't for bin Laden - it was for the dead copter guys. So we lost several lives for a failed PR stunt about some fake "terrorist" hit. And Prez Obarry only got a temporary bump up of 10 points or so in his little Q-rating. Hardly worth it.
FORBES: GOLD STANDARD RETURNING
YELLOW TO BACK GREENBACKS AGAIN: Sweet shin-plasters, can this be the end of Monopoly money? Let's all hope so!By Ed GauthierMy Word Is Solid Gold Hey, remember good ol' Steve "Flat Tax" Forbes who once ran for President? Yep, he was the son of Forbes financial magazine publisher Malcolm Forbes. Well, unfortunately he didn't win, but he's been working behind the scenes to skuttle the funny money business for the crooked powers that be ever since. This week he predicted that the US will be seeing a total return to the gold standard within the next five years. So we're talking around late 2015. FULL STORYOf course that can only happen if another prediction is wrong - the one saying the world will end by 2012!
HOOSIER HIGH HONCHOS: NO MORE 4A
"GARY, INDIANA - MY HOME SWEET HOME": Not any more, it ain't. (Ya, it shows the Indianapolis 500 race, because it's more interesting. There's no Gary 500.)By Ed GauthierCruising The Crashing Constitution Cook-Out (CNS) INDIANAPOLIS - - Looks like it's 'bye 'bye Fourth Amendment in Indiana. The Indiana Supreme Court ruled yesterday that people there no longer have any right to resist if police officers illegally enter their home. That decision of course completely overturns 4A of the Constitution, plus centuries of common law that stretch back even before that. After its shocking 3-2 vote, Indiana Justice Steven David said, “We believe ... a right to resist an unlawful police entry into a home is against public policy, and is incompatible with modern Fourth Amendment jurisprudence." So everything in "modern" times regarding the "non-modern" Constitution is null and void, according to David. And note how they even still admit that the cop entry in question is UNLAWFUL! Has the Indiana high court suddenly gone crazy? Well, at least Justices Robert Rucker and Brent Dickson dissented, saying the ruling runs afoul of the U.S. Constitution’s Fourth Amendment against unreasonable search and seizure. Rucker said, “In my view the majority sweeps with far too broad a brush by essentially telling Indiana citizens that government agents may now enter their homes illegally — that is, without the necessity of a warrant, consent or exigent circumstances.” Dickson said, “The wholesale abrogation of the historic right of a person to reasonably resist unlawful police entry into his dwelling is unwarranted and unnecessarily broad.” Duh! But a fat lot of good that does when the rock-headed ruling was passed, anyway. Time to move out of Indiana, folks! FULL STORY_______________________________________

STUPID 'SOFT SWALLOWS SKYPE
JUST CAN'T LEAVE WELL ENOUGH ALONE: The free video party might be over. Never underestimate the corporate greed of the other guy!By Ed GauthierFORMER Customer Of Webtv, Hotmail, Apple Intel & Skype Well, greedy (Bill) Gates and company (Microsoft) have been chasing me around the internet for over 10 years, and this week they've caught up with me again. After totally screwing up Webtv, Hotmail, and Apple Intel, they've gotten their greasy hands on my free Skype: FULL STORYOf course, no doubt it won't be free for very much longer. Maybe they'll now be calling it Micro-Skype? For those who never used it, it was great. You know how emails killed the post office business (free notes sent 24/7)? Well, Skype did the same thing for the phone business (free calls 24/7). And no, this isn't the clueless whining of someone who hasn't been there. Back in the day, I was a customer of those afore-mentioned fine products, which Gates and 'soft jumped on in the middle of the night and gutted. (We're still waiting to see all those wonderful Java applications on Webtv, etc., Gates!) So thanks a lot, 'soft saps. If you don't mess this one up as well, it'll be a pure miracle!
DIRTY BIG SECRET OF 'TERRORISM'
TELLING IT LIKE THEY DON'T TELL US IT IS: Political pundit Alex Jones slows things down for a moment, to give us a look at what's really written between the lines of most modern day political rhetoric.By Ed GauthierJay-Hod-A-Jee-Hod Hey-Bob-A-Ree-Bob Sometimes things aren't what they may seem to be, which even Big Brother accidentally admits to. The above vid, which shows Jones in a much more subdued and reflective mood than usual, explains a lot of the apparent craziness that we've seen in the political arena in recent years. To most observers in the general public, what's going on apparently makes little sense, but when you click on this vid, you'll at least get a glimpse of the bigger picture behind the scenes. I predict that even after you see this, a long time from now you'll want to download it or at least come back to watch it again. It's really that powerful.
BIN LADEN: THE ICEMAN GOETH
FREEZER BURN PHARAOH AND POPSICLE PROPHET: They say he had nine lives, and if so, this Big Bird bum has now used them all.By Paul Joseph Watson PrisonPlanet.com A multitude of different inside sources both publicly and privately, including one individual who personally worked with Bin Laden at one time, told us directly that Osama's dead corpse has been on ice for nearly a decade and that his "death" would only be announced at the most politically expedient time. That time has now come with a years-old fake picture being presented as the only evidence of his alleged killing yesterday, while Bin Laden's body has been hastily dumped into the sea to prevent anyone from finding out when he actually died. In April 2002, over nine years ago, Council on Foreign Relations member Steve R. Pieczenik, who served as Deputy Assistant Secretary of State under Henry Kissinger, Cyrus Vance, and James Baker, told the Alex Jones Show that Bin Laden had already been "dead for months." Pieczenik would be in a position to know such information, having worked directly with Bin Laden when the US was funding and arming the terror leader in an attempt to drive the Soviets out of Afghanistan in the late '70s and early '80s (a documented historical fact that talking heads in the corporate media are actually denying today in light of developments). "I worked with Osama bin Laden in '78, '81," Pieczenik told Jones, adding that he later turned terrorist hunter during subsequent administrations. "I found out through my sources that he had had kidney disease. And as a physician, I knew that he had to have two dialysis machines and he was dying," Pieczenik told Jones during the April 24, 2002 interview. Except that when they found him hiding in his hole years before his eventual execution, he wasn't already dying of liver (or any other) disease like bin Laden, so they just put him in jail until the most politically opportune time for him to be killed off. And the government's kooky claim that "burial at sea is in accordance with Muslim beliefs" is an obvious whopper - Muslims say it is not in accordance with their beliefs at all. In fact, it's actually a ceremony that is performed for a national HERO, such as a sailor, soldier or CIA agent who greatly helped the west during the performance of one or more missions. That's right - they're saying, "Osama bin Laden, national hero!" Don't ya just love Poli-Tricks?
