TRAVOLTA'S GAY SEX SCANDAL

Apparently the clues were there all along: "I'm so confused!"
FISHER OUTS TRAVOLTA - - We didn't take it too seriously then, but back in December 2010, Star Wars icon Carrie Fisher gave an interview to the gay publication The Advocate, wherein she discussed the subject of actor John Travolta possibly being gay.

She said, "Wow! I mean, my feeling about John has always been that we know [he's gay] and we don’t care. Look, I’m sorry that he’s uncomfortable with it, and that’s all I can say. It only draws more attention to it when you make that kind of legal fuss."

Well, recently this year there's been much more legal fuss, starting last month, with various gay harassment-related legal threats (and actual lawsuits this month) being launched in Travolta's direction.

The boy-meets-girl dynamic of showbiz in Hollywood forces most gay actors, including Travolta, to hide their differing sexuality.

However, in the midst of all the hoopla about this, people should bear in mind that this is about possibly inappropriate bedroom behavior, and that he hasn't beaten up, stabbed or killed anyone.

But the way the public is currently taking the news, he might as well have. Oh, and his wife actress Kelly Preston has reportedly walked out on him as well.  

VERDICT: CAREER OVER.
