COURT GIVES PROP 8 THE GATE

Here's a reaction from one member of the showbiz community
regarding the tossing out of the blatantly anti-gay Proposition 8.
Since the announcement that comic Ellen DeGeneres would be a new spokesperson for JC Penney, there's been an outpouring of support. There has also been a handful of so-called "traditional values" critics. DeGeneres addressed them head-on in her February 7, 2012 monologue, and clarified for the record what her own values are.

Let it also be noted that JC Penney did not merely ride the tidal wave of support that came after California's Prop 8 was declared unconstitutional by the court this week. The store was instead already standing up for DeGeneres long before that legal turn of events.
